There may be some here who are not familiar with our tradition of personal anonymity at the public level. “Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio,and films.” Thus, we respectfully ask that AA speakers and AA members not be photographed, videotaped, or identified by full name on audiotapes and in published or broadcast reports of our meetings, including those reports on new media technologies such as the internet. The assurance of anonymity is essential in our efforts to help other problem drinkers who may wish to share our recovery program with us. And our tradition of anonymity reminds us that “AA principles come before personalities.”
Everyone in AA is a living example of the principles and program of Alcoholics Anonymous. Please be respectful of the hotel, and reach out to anyone that looks lost or overwhelmed. And remember: I am responsible. When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help, I want the hand of A.A. always to be there. And for that: I am responsible.

Conference attendees must wear an ACYPAA lanyard/badge at all times while inside the hotel and Alameda County Fairgrounds. We appreciate your cooperation, as this will allow our security team to work most effectively. Entrance to conference activities will not be allowed without a badge. Please come to Registration to register and pick up your badge.

Main Meeting Seating
The main meetings on Thursday and Sunday will be in the Bishop Ranch Ballroom of the Marriott. The main meetings on Friday and Saturday will be at the Alameda County Fairgrounds Gate 12 on Valley Avenue in Main Parking Lot (2100 Valley Avenue, Pleasanton CA 94566). Seating for main meetings will open at 6:00 pm. On Friday and Saturday, we have to vacate the Fairgrounds by 10:00 pm.
Language Translation Services
Translation of main meetings into Spanish will be available. There are a limited number of FM receivers available for use, but please bring your own just in case.
Translation of main meetings into American Sign Language will be available. Reserved seating for those in need of ASL translation, and anyone else with special seating needs will also be available.

Archives, Literature, and Grapevine
ACYPAA Archives, Literature and Grapevine information can be found in the Mount Diablo Room. There will also be Literature available for sale.
Hospitality is located in Bishop Ranch A and B.
Marathon Meetings will be held around the clock (except during main meetings) in Tri Valley 2.
We are happy to have Al-Anon and Alateen participation at our conference. Al-Anon panels and meetings will take place in the Tri Valley 1.

Recordings of all main speakers and panelists will be available online at www.acypaa.org after the conference.
San Ramon Visitor Information
We will be happy to answer your questions about San Ramon. Maps and restaurant recommendations are also available. Come see us at Registration.
There is absolutely NO SMOKING or VAPING anywhere in the Marriott. There will be a $250 fine if you smoke in your room. Smoking and vaping is allowed outdoors in designated areas only, 30 feet from the main entrance. It is open 24 hours as long as there are no noise complaints.
On-site parking is available at the hotel for $4 a day. Paved parking at the Alameda County Fairground is FREE. Find access at gate 12.
